The faculty members published 58 papers in peer reviewed national and international journals .The Department has one major and 10 minor research projects. From the very beginning, the Department of Chemistry has always earned flying colours in University exam results. 2014-2016 batch of M.Sc. chemistry secured the best and the highest result for the university examination among the various colleges having M.Sc. chemistry batch under the Mahatma Gandhi University.
Our students have so far won 15 University ranks in PG and 6 ranks in UG examinations. 35 students qualified UGC-JRF/NET examinations.
